Ukulele Prayers

Ukulele Prayers!

My first semester is finished! Semesters are six months long, but I came late. Second semester starts tomorrow. I learned so much in the last three months. Now I am able to have full conversations in Pashto and write all my exams in Pashto.
I got to host this weekend, which was good because I miss hosting. One girl, a senior in my department, lives in the external hostel, but she was visiting my hostel for the weekend. She wasn’t fasting so I hosted her for all meals and we ate together in my room.
I was playing ukulele and singing with some of the girls. They don’t understand what I’m saying because English is hard for them and all my songs are old English hymns. I was about to sing Agnus Dei and I told them it was a duaa (prayer)- because it ends in amen- and they all immediately covered their heads. I thought it was so sweet even though they don’t believe the same as us that they still respected the Christian prayer.
I had mentioned before that some words of life went out. The demand is  high, I just ran out and more people are asking for it so my friend is supplying. I told them they had to wait until I got more. Praise God this is thirsty soil, may it prove to be fertile.
Please pray for those here as many are seeking during this fasting season.
Pray for mental focus and physical health for me to be present enough for it.
Thank you all for praying! Khoda haafiz♥️⁩
