Merry Christmas, everyone!
I have made it to Peshawar. It is very beautiful, and I am very excited.
I came in very late, so I am staying for the night with some local believers and then going over to the college in the morning. They are very lovely and remind me so much of my Bengali friends since they are of Punjabi background. Everything from how they speak, dress, and keep their house, even the blankets, sheets, and air freshener, is precisely the same as my time living with Nishat’s family. So I am well reminded by and familiar with the culture already.
Everyone here is very hospitable. Even the immigration officer reviewing my documents was overjoyed and honored that I was coming to learn their language. He went and told all the other officers, and everyone was very happy that I would come to learn from them.
Please pray for God to use my time here for His glory.
