Sirah’s Testimony
Sirah grew up in a highly restricted Islamic country where strict rules governed every aspect of life—especially for women. From a young age, she struggled with the limitations placed on her simply because of her gender. The control and inequality she experienced left her questioning the values of such traditions.
At one point in her life, she had the opportunity to travel to another country. There, she encountered Christians for the first time. However, she had no interest in their faith.
Then, one day, someone approached her and asked if she would like to read the Bible. She declined, multiple times.
But God was gently working in her heart.
Later, her daughter brought a Bible into their home. Out of curiosity, Sirah began to read. What she discovered moved her deeply. She was struck by how Jesus treated women—with dignity, compassion, and respect. For the first time, she saw a vision of love and freedom that contrasted sharply with the oppression she had known.
Eventually, she moved to Canada, where she had more freedom and access to Scripture. There, she continued reading the Bible, and the truth of God’s love became undeniable. She gave her life to Christ and experienced the transformative power of salvation.
Now, Sirah is passionate about sharing the Word of God with others—especially women who feel unseen or unheard. Her journey is a testimony to how God pursues us, even when we’re not looking, and how His Word can bring light into the darkest places.
